Everyone keeps asking how they can help fight against the Dakota Access Pipeline, since we all can't physically be on the frontlines in North Dakota. I've posted links to the Sacred Stone Camp Legal Defense as well as their camp GoFundMe page on previous posts already, but there are other ways you can help out! I kept seeing this list of 10 ways to help out on various Facebook posts so I thought it would be a good idea to share here too.

(I'm not sure where the original post came from or who the original author is, but please let me know so I can credit!)

1. Call North Dakota governor Jack Dalrymple at 701-328-2200. You can leave a message stating your thoughts about this.

2. Sign the petition to the White House to Stop DAPL: https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/stop-construction-dakota-access-pipeline-which-endangers-water-supply-native-american-reservations

3. Donate to support the Standing Rock Sioux at http://standingrock.org/news/standing-rock-sioux-tribe–dakota-access-pipeline-donation-fund/

4. Donate items from the Sacred Stone Camp Supply List: http://sacredstonecamp.org/supply-list/

9. Sign other petitions asking President Obama to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline. Here's the latest to cross my desk – https://act.credoaction.com/sign/NoDAPL

This is an unspeakable horror that the government is, once again, hurting Native Americans. And hurting & disrespecting Mother Earth. When will it end? We are destroying earth. I am in total support of the boycott of the Pipeline. Tho I am not Native American, I have been accepted into the culture many times, at many PowWows. My wife, dear Marian, who has’ walked on’ took me to PowWows. She was Native American.

I stand with Standing Rock sending prayers also.

We stand with you. The cruel actions of the police and Nat’l Guard are crimes against humanity. I will send financial support and if I can and if it is helpful, I am willing to go there. Let me know. Thanks for standing up to the Machine that wants to squeeze every single precious resource from the People to make profits. PLANET AND PEOPLE OVER PROFITS!!!!!!

The Native Standing Sioux Tribe are correctly exercising their rights to stop the assault on their vital assets-water and life. Americans must remember all of the resources they have already given over centuries…extraordinary and critical sacrifices, to many to list. America, please do the right thing and listen to the Sioux Tribe..they do not want the pipeline through their land. Other alternatives exist. It is a disgrace in this day and age to continue to “take” from our native American Peoples, and dismiss their heritage as “disposable”. The importance of our government to recognize and embrace their unique culture, national standing, and their renowned historical niche, will elevate the credibility of the U.S.A. because it will show the world we respect and honor our diversity above easy money. You can’t drink oil.

Hey there thank you for this article, this is important info. We want to help but are unsure how. I just wanted to take a moment to mention that I was looking at things to donate list and I noticed there was no mention of ‘ feminine hygiene’ products. I know there are a buch of incredible strong women over there fighting and I also know that our life giving strength comes with blood. Maybe pads and tampons should be on the list? Elders have there’ Poise’ lady’s need their pads. Big Love and big stagth!
