This past weekend Jocy Bird (Mandan/Hidatsa/Arikara) was the Head Lady Dancer at the Stanford Powwow 2018 in Palo Alto, California!

Jocy is accomplished Fancy Dancer who everyone can catch on the Powwow circuit.  More recently she was also the Head Woman Dancer at the 2018 Gathering of Nations Powwow in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

During our interview with Powwows.com, Jocy was friendly and easy to talk to.  Her personality was bright and effervescent just like her beautiful regalia. Check out our feature video below and get to know Jocy!
