Torture

T.B. Bechtel, a part-time City Councilman from Midland, TX was asked on a local live radio talk show, just what he thought of the allegations of torture of the Iraqi prisoners.

His reply prompted his ejection from the studio, but to thunderous applause from the audience.

'If hooking up an Iraqi prisoner's balls to a car's battery cables will save one Texas GI's life, then I have just three things to say,

Red is positive,
Black is negative,
Make sure his balls are wet.'

We captured alot of Taliban, and never layed on a hand on them. Oh man, they stunk real bad. I always made my soldiers zip tie those guys. We had sand bags, but somewhere along the time we were out in the AO, we were told we couldn't even cover their heads with that sandbag. So we ended up using goggles with tape covering the lenses.

Iraqi insurgents we had to do the same thing. If our paperwork, which was 19 sheets to fill out, if we had one word spelled wrong the S-2 (intelligience) would actually let our detainees go, cause the paperwork was wrong.

...That smell they had on them was disgusting. Too bad about the MRE..I used to take baby wipes, and that hand sanitizer with me when went out the wire....after that first detainee.

Speaking of torture...we found alot of al Qaeda in Iraq's handy work on the streets of Baghdad. The guys faces we found dead were never bruised or beaten. But the chest was usually charred from electrocution...messed up way to go. Or we found bodies with a shot to the back of the head, and they were bound and gagged. Some places we found drag marks from all the blood, but no bodies, so they were probably buried in a nameless grave along side a road or maybe thrown in a canal.

When we found notes attached to them, usually accusing the dead guy of being an informant to the coalition forces. Not sure if the dead guy was an informant, but I never seen any of them before. And there was alot of dead guys we found.
