I was reading an article in the paper this morning and about spit my coffe out laughing
A bartender was being interviewed and they said the name of his bar is Fubar! I got blank looks accross the table from me when I mentioned it and i realized the name only means something to people familiar with Military Slang:
FUBAR - F**ked up Beyond All Recognition

Here is some others:
BOHICA - Bend Over, Here It Comes Again
JANFU - Joint Army/Navy F**k-Up
SNAFU - Situation Normal: All F**ked Up
TARFU - Things Are Really F**ked Up

Whenever a post starts- I nearly spit out my coffee/soda/tea or whatever, I always make sure I am not drinking when reading the rest of the post. From military family members, I knew Fubar and Snafu, but the rest just cracked me up.
