Native Americans stationed in the persian gulf.

I was curious if anyone has friends or family stationed here in the persian gulf. I am a U.S. sailor and a Kiowa tribal member. My native name is Tane Guadal (red heart) and I belong to the Black Leggins Society. I'm stationed here in Bahrain for 2 years and just looking for other native americans here also. If you know of someone please pass them my e-mail address. I would love to meet other natives

I was in Afghanistan and got to see Qatar over there. I don't know of any Natives actually stationed there, most are deployed there I believe and they only stay for anywhere up to a year. Check out the AICCO and you will find some names and addys there for all services there.

Good luck!!!!

Was there last year and it was cool. We had a port visit and went to the Dome, I ended up meeting some Natives there. But the most interesting thing happened, I ran into a girl in the ladies room. We started talking and found out she was related to me. She knew alot of old folks from back home. She was stationed on a cutter with the Coast Guard. I think the only way I know other natives out here is through the military. I'll be headed back this fall, probably end up flying out of Bahrain, so whenever a ship pulls into port, go to the Dome and you'll eventually run into one.

Where is Verden? I lived in Ardmore for 18 years.

LOL Looking for indians is kind of hard in the military. I go to the commissary, I can blend in with the Polynesian, Asian, filipina and Mexican/Latina women. LOL That's pretty bad.
