WHAAAAAA!

well, is the your wisdom, or your ancestors. The finest argument, or opinion, about this topic is WHAAAAAA!

Funny, it sounds more like a high school freshman.
If you are welcome to the discussion.
nothing wrong with being a student.
If you are actually a mature adult with 20 years active service, well, you cover is working quite well. no would ever suspect that a mature person with 20 years of active duty military service would launch into a serious a discussion as war ( more than 15 children dead in the last 5 days due to the actions of active duty USA service men and women, this is not to judge, but to demonstrate the serious nature of this topic. I would be embarrassed to tell the mothers of these dead children, "WHAAAAAA! ".

I Served my 20 yrs and would do it AGAIN!
Pride does go ahead of the fall.
You say that like it was a burden to have a job for twenty years.
If I had worked for one company for twenty years, I would want to move onto something different, at least for the education it would bring to me.

Sounds like one of us here needs to start their own post on The unfair practices of our government and Past wrongs of our government
I agree. Help yourself.
What is your government?
"Render unto Caesar that which belongs to Caesar."
I was made by God, and belong to God.
but, hey, that's just me.
Maybe you know of a people made by Caesar.

And leave the Fighting Men and Women Alone Quit putting US down for what we did and ARE doing!I
Is the thought that you , as a member of the armed services, could share the guilt of any wrong doings made by your government, so much so that to avoid having to think about it, you attack any intelligent discussion ?

I Put that in YOUR Pipe!
Now you have gone and blown your cover. we all know that , as a 20 year veteran of active duty service to your government, you would be able to type complete sentences using the basic rules of grammar.
This sentence proves you are a high school freshman.
Oh, you got me.
It's that "undercover" thing.
Special Operations.
Your mission is to blend into Native American message boards, and , while disguised as an immature young high school freshman, gather intelligence on any "uprising " in the works.
(wink wink)

this post is not really for you.
It is for the others who have been following this thread.
For you, uh, BRITNEY ROCKS !!!!!
Why am I so sarcastic today.
Must be the Christmas ( read - spending money at Wal-Mart to buy material formally made by Americans , that "someone's" government has allowed now to be made by political prisoners in China) spirit.
Really, I mean, "WHAAAAAA" is not a contribution to the discussion.
You might do well to read thru all the post, you know, follow the discussion, so you don't look like a Special Ops agent trying to pose as a high freshman.
Ever wonder why so many Native Americans serve in the armed services?
Ever wonder why so many people whose kids go to elite private schools, live in gates communities, and have trust funds, do not serve ?
Its because they don't have to .
they are not strapped for cash .
they have the best, but we have the bullets.
And they know the poorer they keep us, the easier it is to get us to die and kill others to protect their lifestyle.
If i am lying, then go a google search for the military carrier of your governments leader.
WHAAAAAA !!!!!
THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE.

Seriously, it is when the poor realize that they are fighting the poor, while the elite drive HUMMERS around their Gilded GOP Reservations, and refuse to kill, then God will step into the game and , because of the faith of even a few, sort the sh*t out once and for all.
Until then, WHAAAA, we will keep repeating the same mistakes, one generation after another.
I am ready to die for my country, but not your government.
for 10,000 years my ancestors have defended their country, and with even a small remnant, God can move thru the Faith of the weak, and crumble the house of the proud.
It will happen, it is happening, and when its too late, there will be some good folks, who took the wrong path, who will have nothing left to do but watch and say...... (whaaaa)

HOOAH!! my husband says he hears that!!!

but quite frankly i have enjoyed this thread and the contributions that stirbaby has made. he is the flip-side and i believe that it is always a good experience to listen to what i dont see. does that make any sense?? we all have our own "wars" to fight either in side ourselves, on the battlefield or against sickness of body etc.
we all have our path to walk. we need to walk that path with respect to all our relations, love, compassion and humility. thats my story and im stickin to it!!!! peace, cougie

Abe,
Heck, I told you I had just gone to wal-mart, I was half crazy insane, and that's before i even GOT to China-Mart ( or Wal-china)
Rednecks gone wild!
I enjoy the postgasms we have.
I took what I thought of as a flip way to counter my position, "WHAAAAAA my *u**y hurts", as a e-calling out for some verbal dodedo.
I, as well as everyone here, think that Freshmen are kinda, well, cute.
see, we can all be friends.
I hope everyone is doing well at their appointed stations around the globe.
My self, well, I am into my second year of coming out of the closet.
My mother passed, and I have had to make it up as I go.
Our family is a line descendent of the Timucua, Potano Nation.
except, the Timucua spoke of the shared unique language, not a shared ruling class.
I guess we are most famous for the potato.
Cray Spaniards, calling a Okwala a Potato
Imagine, if my ancestors had been called the Deecks.
It would have made lunch a little more exciting.
At a McDeadmeat somewhere someones aunt Tasha would be looking up to a young couple and asking, "Would you like to Super-size that dick for you?".
It's better it all worked out the way it did.
Nobody would have ever wanted to be known as a "big" Jimmy Buffet fan.
Has anybody caught the NEW south parks.
they are the best so far.
Last nights was a total gas.

Big Guns

I would like to great all and thank those that have done the time.

I am proud to be able to tell everyone that I was priviledged to retire from the US Army Field Artillery(13B,13F,13E/C) with 22 yrs behind me. I was prejudiced by the Vet's of my family and the Veterans Society of my Peoples. My Cuz's of age at the time went to 'Nam. I wasn't able to go because I couldn't find a birth certificate with my name on it making me 2 years older. God was keeping watch over me because I know I wouldn't have come home alive. I was able to join later and serve my People not the "MAN". I would do it again given any scenario. (I would make some rather different choices the next time around, HAHA). BIG Check you all. I don't have any Combat time, again Gods will I suppose, but I am proud to be considered a VET non-the-less.

So did you join your tribal military? This sentence is just too stupid to comment on....so I'll just leave it up for you to read again.

Oh but I bet you stand proudly with our NDN vets too, including our Vietnam veterans.

Lets keep our focus.
This is about people not horses.
If the rich man could sail to it, it wouldnt stand for it.

I'm gonna have to step out on a limb here and defend Jibby's logic a little...

True or False:
"We can have the powwows we do today because of what was accomplished in Japan, Germany, Korea and Vietnam."

-= FALSE =-

Vastly great things WERE accomplished and we WOULD be unimaginably worse off if they had not. BUT ... the right to practice our tribal customs was not defended in foreign wars. They were won through internal actions AGAINST the United States by protestors and our other political allies. Even after these foreign wars were won, it was still illegal to beat a drum or dance in an Indian way until as recently as August 11, 1978. We didn't need Japan or Germany to come and oppress us, the USA has been doing it since 1776. It has only let up because it has finally been FORCED to from internal pressures. Every time we stop a building from going up, due to an environmental regulation that the developer cannot afford to comply with, we WIN land back by stopping THEM from using it. Think about it.

Let us remember: while heroes did heroic things abroad, the fruit of their blood, sweat and tears was intended by the government for White Christian America FIRST.

natives in military

Lets see, read what some people think they're right about and think some of what some say they know about such things. I am in the Army, was over there during Operation Iraqi Freaadom, and i disagree with who was it Jibby, treaties don't count or whatever you said considered the man or whoever you think doesn't read treaties my tribe won a whole lot of land back with our treaty. If you don't know a treaty is like the constitution, it cannot be broken, no matter how anyone slices it. "The Man" as you put it can't ignore a treaty or look pass it because its a law for our people signed by our people and his people a long time ago. As for Iraq not being a threat, yeah OK you don't know as much as you think. Saddam didn't have anything what do you call the SCUDS he let off do you know the effect of the scud or whats in the scud. Maybe you think you know cause maybe you put one together with Saddam, Do you have a car or anyone in your family have one. I may not be an expert but the effects of the scud is not pretty or other missiles iraq or another country such as korea or germany may have. You may think they are not all threats but if you knew the distances some of the missiles these countries have are a big threat to the USA. As long as i am in i am glad we have the army we have and the capabilities to stop these guys using missiles with such range, then maybe you wouldn't be saying the things you say right now cause maybe you could be cleaning up areas around you from the possibilty of your town getting hit by a bomb, thats why we serve for our country and not for "THE MAN" as you call him. And as it was stated from someone else this country is alot more free than the SouthWestern Asia area. Woman get treated like scum and you don't get treated like that here do you?
