I've been looking over your shoulders when you didn't know it.

By the way, you skipped a bead.

LOL, wasn't me that skipped a bead, but I did switch a couple blues around. Did't notice it until about 10 rows later. I figured......I just made a new signature!!!!!! I'm not taking out 10 rows (69 beads wide) to switch a couple beads.

DANG Pokey! I've started and finished a belt since you said you started that one, and you're only on 2 inches. Got hald a garter done tonight.

I love it so far, looks like the background is spilled paint, much better than your first background color.

Yeah, I know. Actaully i started the beadwork last week. but I'm moving real slow. Thanks why I'm up at 4:30 this morning. Got a couple hours to work on it. Still got to learn to bead like a machine, especially with these little beads!!!!!!!!!!!!

HEEEEEEELLLLLPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alright I'm gonna toss this out here in public cause I'm d@mn desperate and I figure it might happen to someone else someday. Well Maybe!?!?!

I broke a warp thread while weaving in a new piece of weft thread. Don't know if I nicked it or what. Anyway it's right in the middle. Can it be fixed or do I have to start all over again????

Oh please tell me it can be fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I beaded 3 inches this morning on my belt. :Cry

Anybody that can help, please feel free to lend your insight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like I said I'm desperate here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks
Joe

WHEW!!!!!!!!!!!!

After 7 phone calls 10 emails and private messages I found out.........IT CAN BE FIXED!!!!!!!!!!!!

But as my dad told me......it isn't going to be easy!!!!:( It never is!!!:Chatter

According to my dad. I gotta take out the thread that broke and tie it off. Then tie a new sting onto my screw and thread it back in going between the top and bottom weft threads. Once I make it through all the bead work I gotta stretch it out and tie it off.

OK I guess I can handle that

Stay tooned and we'll see how it works out. The good news is if I can't fix it. The beginning of Aug. I'm going to a powwow and I know someone there who can fix it for me. NICE TO HAVE A BACK UP PLAN!!!!!:D

:D :Thumbs :1Party: :blow:

I DID IT!!!!! it wasn't as bad as I thought. A little scary at first but I fixed it, in half an hour no less!!!!

Let's just say it's not something I want to do all the time, but ..... considering the alternative.......I'd rather do this than redo 5" or more of beadwork any day!!!!!!!!!!!!

Straightdancerinaz.... I was gonna try your idea, but after I got enough to tie a knot. I only had a little more to take out the whole thread. So I just replaced the whole thing.

I appreciate everyones help in my time of panic!!!!!!!!:D :o

You answered a question that's been bugging me! Thank you!
I've been wanting to make a loom, but I couldn't figure out what to hold the threads with. Didn't think of a threaded rod. :D
