Yeah I have. But usually after a little of it is done or after I look at the graph paper a day later I end up not likeing the design. So I just haven't started on anything else.

I know exactly how you feel Jammer. All the beadwork I've done so far is for my wife and kids. Everything I've drawn up for me, I end up not liking enough to keep.

Jammer, the piece looks awsome, way to go! The picture looks like the beads might be a little crowded, did you have any problems with the work feeling too tight ot bunched up? Ususally I see more of the warp threads in between the beads, that's why I ask.

What are the specs? i.e. bead size, thread size and type, loom type.... Any problems, tips, or snags (oh...shouldn't say snag!) to share with the group?

I just finished a batch of 6 belts, I'll try to get a photo on here next week before I mail them off.

LOL well beadman. That was just messing around so I didn't use anything that I would have to use. The bead size are 11s and the cheap kind not the kind one would usually work with, the thread is regular sewing thread and the loom is a small 1 foot loom not very big. That being my first time trying it out I just used what was laying around. Problems? LOL you serious! LOL Yeah it takes alot of paitence and that is one thing I don't really have, something I'm trying to work on at the moment also. LOL

Spotted Eagle,
I have gone everywhere my search engines will take me to try to find beadesigner 1.0 and it just WILL NOT come up anywhere I go..I may not be looking in the right places...but also could not find the posts you mentioned where you linked back to the software. Can you help me with finding it...or is it now unavailable? I have found a couple programs for sale, but they are like 50 dollars....free sounds a lot better, if you know what I mean. Would appreciate very much any help you can give.
Thanks,
Ray

Put the second 'd' in the name it will take all of 10 seconds to find:) (Google rules).

http://www.cs.umb.edu/~lkramer/software.html

Be aware it is a Win 3.1/95/NT4 application. It may be crash prone or un-runable on other platforms.

Good Luck,

OL,
as a computer illiterate, I am guessing that means that since I have Windows 2000 that this program is likely to not work very well on my puter, right?

I originally used beadesigner on Windows 2000, before I got XP.

I know I've been saying I would do this for some time, but I have finally posted some images in the galleries. There are about 30 pieces on there, all loom woven. When I get some more time I'll post more. This is no where near everything I have done.

Don't go steelin' my designs now!:Mad

Superndngyrl let us know if you need any help. I didn't think it was too hard either. And speed comes with practice, as I was told. Can't wait to see the pics!!!! By the way what are you making??

I even got my bro to work on a few rows for me. He said it was easy too. ... I guess the hard part is getting it set up but thats not even bad.
