What color of thread to use?
I'm working on my first sequin project and at least up close the white Nymo seems really noticable. Do you find it is rally obvious or is it ok from a distance? i was wondering if you used different colors to match to your sequins at all?
Thank you for having such clear instructions, it's cool to see a project go this easily. Thanks Sarah |

I've only used white nymo...most of my topper beads are crystal/transparent colors, so it's not really that visible...even when I do black opaque topper beads on black sequins, I use white nymo. LOL! Yeah, you can see it up close, but once those sequins sparkle under the sun or lights, you're never gonna see the thread!
ps: we'd love to see pics when you're done!!! |

Your sequin work is wonderful !!! All my niece's fancy shawl sets are sequined (made by me). I used invisible thread but, Walela is right- there is so much shine from the sequins that any thread isn't going to be noticeable.
