We bring ours to every dance we go to, had to bring the tent once and we were not as happy going the weekend in it.
Its so much easier getting dressed and way more bearable when it rains. There are very few tipi contests in New England or even tipi's. The only drawback we have bringing it to a dance is that the powwow comittee tries to persuade us to set up out front or near the dance arena to be a part of the advertising from the road and we want to set up with our friends and not have to worry about the public conducting thier own tour. |
