What do you like to put on your bannock?? Me I like to put the jam and peanut butter mmmmm........or when fried bannock is just hot put the peanut butter on it and it melts mmmmmmmm!!!!!!!

well where im from they call it fry bread but yea i like that on my fry bread too, peanut butter an all the good stuff for indian tacos,just meat an cheese

what bout IN your bannock? i like to put weiners in them while i fry ... only for birthdays...cant make em fast enough...and then theres cheese and jam inside
oh yeah i love melting peanut butter on fried bannock and with sugary tea...yum...
i cant make baked bannock...<--hockey pucks..or deadly weapons

mmmm... yeah that is good pigs in a blanket they call it!!!! Yeah thats the same with my baked bannock but its not heavy its really thin and crispy lol!!!! it could be used for a pizza crust. My aunties bannock is really good. it comes out like cake like 3 inches (width). Its really fluffy and good. My other auntie was going to teach me her ways of cooking bannock but we moved. My mom teach me but it never really turns out like hers. Mine are always burn't or dried lol. But yummm I love pigs in a blanket. Iam from canada and thats what we call it up here. c there different name for similar things. But we all know bannock or fried bread is yummmooo

alright so the first time i went to a canada powwow i was all gonna get somtin to munch on with my mom an like were at this stand reading the stuff an my mom was all to the ladie at the stand "whats a binock burger?" an i busted out laughin cuz its bannock an that ladie did too.....preeetty funny an later she found out it was the same thing as fry bread.....but yea tripe soup...is that cow stomach? an canadas beef tastes way different than the beef in the states....canada beef tastes better but isnt it like mixed with somethin else?

Lol have you ever tried tripe soup? lol I neverd because it has a funky smell and that kind throws me off from it. Yeah its cow stomach/intestine. Lol thats funny binock!!!!! Lol I don't know itf it mixed breed or sumthing or maybe it because it eats wheat or grain. whatever cows eat I don't know....anyone know?

well we dont call it tripe,we call it taniga an my mom makes some bomb azz taniga,she cleans it really good an there is no smell an it tastes really good an my friend knows about the smell of most tripe soups an some really stink aye but he tried my moms an he all loves it now haha,but yea some tripes taste kinda chewy like rubber or somtin

I don't know. I don't really like it though. I never tried it but maybe when I am a kokum I will like it. But for now I will stay with my pizzas and cheeseburgers. Anyways I like to dip my bannock into my berries. mmmmm thats good!!!!!!!

I know how about making sandwiches out of bannock like bologne,Spam,Ham. Mmmmmmm I am so hungry know all this talking about spam lol jk!!!!! I love to break up my bannock and put it in my soup so it absorbs all the moisture and its not to soupy(lol). Mmmmm I love eating my soup like that...anyways what kind of sandwiches do you guys make out of your bannock????

Depends if its before or after dinner...Like a snack after school its like butter and cheese, warmed up in the microwave,
After dinner, warm bannock with butter and strawberry jam<3...:D

Mind you if it is for dinner, nothing better then a peice of fried bologna!!
