Who's tough enough?

Who's tough enough to go into the Ironman Contest. I know its 18+. But sneak in when I was 13 and lasted a hour. I wasn't in shape. I just kept going. But right now its hard unless I pace myself and train 4 it. I'm only 15 now. Taking a break, I busted my knuckle on foot last summer over at onion lake. I didn't compete. In Standong Buffalo, I placed and I missed part of my contest song. Plus my busted knuckle. Its healing now, but i don't think if have a knuckle now. Its pushed in.

Oh yeah, Whos tough enough?
Are any of you teens went into a Iron Man?

Hey They had an iron man contest last year in the BIG Onion? I was there but I don't remember lol.

But yeah I would but I dance teen girls tradish and you know how they won't let them be going in those contest. Unless I go in and dance jingle but that would be hard because its almost summer and I am still not in shape. Well yeah I should be practicing summer coming up. Gotta whip out the old snagging blanket dust it off and throw it in the wash. Lol jk!

ive never even heard of this ironman thing,is this somthing they do in canada or what?ive never heard of it in nd,sd,or mn an i only go to one powwow in canada,white bear sk,an sometimes brandon powwow,sounds kinda cool but yea what if ur all dancing all long an u use every move u have,u do the same moves over,that would look boring after awhile i think

Sometimes it have it CTK(Carry The Kettle). Its was pretty awesome that time when I went there two years ago. They had it both for woman and men. They were all dancing for eight thousand dollars!!!!! No one wanted to give up. On the men it came out a tie. On the woman it was I don't know her name but she dances in woman tho. It was pretty awesome. You never seen one before.
They have to keep dancing the last one still moving wins. They can't stop between songs they have to keep moving. Sometimes they have people in the middle tapping people out. Or sometimes they have the crowd tapping people out. Is they stop their tapped out.

yea carry the kettle is in canada right?....i was gonna go there but idk what happened but yea that sounds cool...so do some people just do their same moves over an over or what?

The songs change, yeah i guess you can say that. But its a challenge. Figure out moves on their way.

Yeah I guess they keep doing their moves over and over again. Sometimes when its the men fancy iron man they spin around to make it look their not tired. Womans fancy shawl they have to keep moving their shawls or looks like their tired. I watched a womans jingle iron man contest. That would be hard on the legs!!!!! I enjoy watching these iron man contest.

Damn I remember last summer up here on the Menom rez at our contest pow-wow we had our Ironman Contest! I give you guys props that can go out there and jam that long!!! Hard work but sure well worth it!!

they had an ironman/woman contest at Lansing MSU Powwow last year. I believe Lisa Odjig won the womens one and Shibabe Hodge was the runner up

OMG you have never heard about a Iron man contest/special. If you get the chances to watch this you should because its amazing to watch. I love watching Iron man specials with my popcorn and pepsi.
