Talking Those little bells

That was some interesting reading to say the least. There was some goot ones told. It always entertaining to me how many people think of a powwow as some sort of religious event. It originates from war dances and other social gatherings/dances, that's it, end of story.
I feel great when I dance, almost like a spiritual high, but I am in no way praying to the creator. I pray to the creator with every waking breath, with every step I take. Let's not get carried away with symbolism and what this or that means.
The bells we wear sound good and look nice. Jingles on a dress look and sound nice (although there is more to a jingle dress). The beadwork we wear looks nice. The street clothes we sometimes wear when we dance makes us look and feel good. My god people lighten up.
To whomever likes to powwow, or just likes to watch. Enjoy life to it's fullest, and dance hard.
