Arlee Pow Wow in Arlee, Montana
To all people: If you want to watch a pow wow that is dedicated to All American and Canadian And All Veterans, then go to this Pow Wow. It happens around July 4 every year. On the 4th of July they honor all veterans from all ways. Sometimes they line up by their wars. A couple of years ago they had a WWI Vet in wheel chair leading everyone in a Honor Dance for Veterans. Of course most people think it is just for Native American Vets, but after the first honor dance, the MC then tells everyone in the audience that it is for all veterans and then requests that all veterans in the audience come down on the floor and then a honor drum again plays and honors all the vets on the floor. So if you get the chance go see how the Salish-Kooteni tribes put on a pow-wow.
