Boozhoo Giinawaa!
I'm from France. i lived in minnesota for a year and i wanted to learn as much as possible about native americans because you guys are the first nation! So i've learned the ojibwe language (well as much as i could in one year. Wish i could have learn more), intended to storytellers events and of course to pow wows! And i have to say it was like i received a lightening! I cried when i was at my first pow wow and then everytime i went to one (might sound crazy i don't know). Pow wows touched me in some ways. I can't describe it. I loved it and it was very beautiful and full of emotions and story. I danced two times (well i tried) and i remember i danced one with an elder and it was such an honor for me. I really really appreciated everything! Please carry on your tradition. you are the most amazing people i've ever met!! I hope i'll have the opportunities again to intend to pow wows because i miss that!!!!! I was wondering, if i could organise a pow wow here, will you come here? Miigwech |
