Nah...seriously though...how big is your drum? Diameter? Height?
I started to ask how big was your "grandpa"...but, I didn't wanna get disgusting replies back about someone's "girth".

The drum we sing on is 31"x16"... would like to have one @ 25-26" so I could get it in the car... LOL. I've seen a heck of a lot bigger than that though! I've heard stories about this one drum group around here that literally uses a fork lift to set their drum, and they put lights under it and everything else... LOL. Just what I always wanted... a low rider drum! LOL (Just add hydralics and fuzzy dice and there you go... LOL

Lets see my first drum I got is a 27"x12". My dads drum is a 28"x12". And my latest one I just got for a graduation gift is a 27"x10". All 3 of them were made by the late Ted Bravescout Moore.
Our 2 oldest drums are gettin worn. Going to retire them real soon. But jus this past weekend I got a brand new drum rim which is a 30"x14". Were taking it down to Red Earth, and this one guy is goin to tie it up. |
