Would you be interested in a forum for the Wicaglata's? (female backup singers)

I would just call it the Women's Back-up Forum.

So far Women's back-up has kinda been religated to, "who has the best back-up singers?" questions... Would be a good idea in my opinion!

I'm kinda like Red Shield, I wouldn't object, but I probably wouldn't post much. However, I responded "Doesn't make a difference to me." Sometimes, it seems that we struggle keeping the Southern Singing forum alive and active. So further subdividing the forum might further reduce the amount of posting here. But if the powers that be decide to go with the new forum, I'll check it out!

Wicaglata means more than just standing up behind people singing. I've found that term used by different tribes on the powwow trail now. Like a universal term. Just my thought on it.

I was hoping that by creating another forum it would bring more attention to the singing end of it.

Personally, being a lead singer with little to no consistent female support around the drum, I think it could be beneficial. It would be very interesting to get pointers from women (and even men) on various issues dealing with singing from time to time. My only concern is when it becomes a "pissing match" in the "who's who" type of thread...need your ego stroked?...go lube up w/ a good book and read!

This way The Creator has a direct connection with you and only you...no outside interference. When you follow the will of IT that created you, understanding that your purpose is not for you...but for IT and all that IT has created, there can be no wrong except failure to be obedient. Only then do we jeopardize the gifts we are given. Its not the final destination that defines us, rather the journey taken!
