dang i go off pws.com for a while.. and now look...wut happened to talkin about southern singing..? dont they make shrinx for problems like those?? but newayz...
Nowadays..procedure has gone out the window....wut do yall think about gourd dance songs being sung out of order? i mean sure no1 can possibly get all the orders right but...still i heard the supper song..sang 3 times...b4 supper wus even close to being ready...apparently its ok...to use a song early jus so u have somthing to fall back on? I always thought passing the song was sufficient...but idk...wut about youz guyz?

Or even the head man singer or head gourd dance singer?

Hmmm...this is a very good question you propose here. I am certainly not someone who could answer your question from 1st hand knowledge, but I wonder if the folks in the "varsity seats" knew the song you are referring to. I'm also assuming that Elders would/did approach that individual (or even the drum) afterwards at some point. I will say in my experience that sometimes people don't always like to make a scene. So, although you did not see anyone speak about that is not to say that it did not happen.

Obviously, I was not there, so I can not even begin to offer an explanation. But, I will say that as long as we are here on this Earth, we will always have something to learn.

I think maybe some singers like myself don't feel the "supper song" is really a legit song to include in gourd dancing. It has only come into being in the last 3 years.

true...but dang that song aint even tha purrty...3 times??? im not saying any names...but no one said anything to him because it would be a waste of time...you can only be taught the same thing so many times..
