Best of the Best Fancy Dance Songs-WHO?

My pick would have to be Zotigh Singers, Yellowhammer, Southern Thunder and Omaha Whitetail. Maybe your pick is different. Who do you think has the best songs?

i would agree on the zotigh singers, yellow hammer but i would not agree on the other two i would have to choose ottertrail and bad water singer out of alabama they sound pretty good to be such a young drum... i think the oldest one is 23 and the youngest is 17....

the drums who I think have kicked out some jammin fancy dance songs in the past are Grey Horse, Cozad, and Rose Hill.

Definitely Zotigh and Grey Horse.

Both have a wide variety of "unique" men's fancy dance songs.

Both were among the earliest southern drum groups to bring southern style powwow music to the Canadian plains.

Both groups have at least 10 songs that belong to their drum groups, that are their own compositions.

The best part is . . .

They both drum to a beat that let the fancy dancers show their stuff!

Grey Horse does not set up that often anymore, unfortunately.

if i was a fancy dancer i think i would like the good ol cruzzin songs. so i think i would pick:
SOUTHERN THUNDER
YELLOWHAMMER
GREYHORSE(oldies but goodies)
SIZZORTAIL

now days everyone wants to blaze and sing all fast. most of the dancers just spin and try to keep up!!! sometimes it looks good for a few dancers but at the same time half of the dancers have to sing the song to them selves so they know when to stop cause most of the time you can here anything other than hella fast drummin! but thats my opinion!
