Is it someone looking to pass on his knowledge to someone...taking a young man under his wing because he has proven himself worthy by whatever means?

Is it someone looking to preserve the ways or acquire the knowledge of his favorite singer...his hero?

To get a true picture of your purpose in life, you only get the whole picture when you listen with your mind, your ears and your heart. This way The Creator has a direct connection with you and only you...no outside interference.

When you follow the will of IT that created you, understanding that your purpose is not for you...but for IT and all that IT has created, there can be no wrong except failure to be obedient. Only then do we jeopardize the gifts we are given.

Its not the final destination that defines us, rather the journey taken!

Even though I was raised around the drum, I still consider myself a mentee.

I still get taken to the side, sung a song to add to my memory and have it's meaning explained.

But,


I would NEVER sit under someones wing.

All the years I have been singing there have been many men that shared their knowledge with me ... some right, some wrong and some more than others. It is still going on to this day. I have sought out the assistance of other and had it offered to me when I had not ask for it. I have even tried to assist when I can.

There are those out there that have vast amounts of knowledge about songs and most are willing to share. They all have their own reasons for doing so and I can honestly say I have never asked why they were willing to pass things on to me, but I figured if they wanted me to know why they were willing to do so they would tell me. There are no plain and simple reasons as to why some are willing to teach and some are willing to learn. Those reasons are contained in the heart of each man. Sorry ... I can't answer your question outright, but I can say, I do not think it can be answered that way.
