Hello Miss Mia. Was that you we met at the University of Washington Powwow? Where you with the group when they took us to The Fat Robbin or The Red Rooster (or something like that)?

I'm not a fan of cd's and tapes of just one group. All of my cd's/tapes are a collaboration of different groups. My favorites are Hinkley Southern Style.

I'm like the one poster who said he collects all groups. I'm the same way. There for awhile I was hooked on Bear Creek. Midnight just before them. Southern Thunder is a favorite but any live recording is what I like to purchase. It is my understanding that Yellowhammer, Southern Thunder and Sizzortail all have new CD's coming out soon! With Southern Thunder and Sizzortail making live recordings. Can't wait.

I have a cd that features a compiliation of southern drum groups at GON that was made in 2000, I think. I like listening to it. I have a few Youngbird cds, but I wouldn't call them my favorite.

Geez, I really need to build up my cd collection of southern drum groups.

I heard Sizzortail, Southern Thunder, Ottertrail, Youngbird, and Southern Boys just to name a few, were going to release new c.d.'s this year. Dang, I can't wait for another new Yellowhammer one. I think Bad Moon Rising is putting out another one too. Wisconsin Dells (Funmaker boys) have various ones out there with good Ho-chunk war dance songs.

A Gem.

Found this ole ole tape in the 5$ box and found a tape of ponca kiowa songs. Joe Bointy, Larry Cozad, Tom Ware, George Valliere, Bill Ware, Phillip Hendrix Jr and a few others are on this tape. I'll probably clean it up and burn it onto disc. But thats my fav now
