Menominee Contest Pow wow

I would like to inform everyone that August 5,6,7,8 is Menominee's contest pow wow. They have a drum contest of $5,000.00 for first place and a special drum contest this year Honoring Louie Sheridan Sr. for $2,000.00 winner take all. That's $7,000.00 for the champions. There is five places in the drum contest. Midnite Express is Host drum. Plus they have a hand drum contest three places for that. I hope alot of Southern Drums come up and enjoy this wonderful pow wow. It's at the Woodland bowl in Keshena, Wisconsin.

I heard a sober 49 has been added with a hand drum contest following the pow wow friday and saturday and a menominee scrub contest too.
