This is going to be the ultimate singing contest. Yellowhammer had my vote, Southern Thunder is going full force too, then Southern Boys, if they are full crew, will be tough and then Youngbird was awesome at Gathering. You can't overlook WhiteTail or Cozads. I heard the first 3 groups I mentioned have new songs ready for this round and I am sure the other groups do as well. So....it is going to be tough. You will know the first night who has their game on and who has the spirit for the weekend. I know that is how it was the last time Yellowhammer was there. We were watching them sing their first contest intertribal and as soon as they finished....everyone looked at each other and it was over. One of the Cozad boys looked at me and said"Sis, we are singing for second" So, you will know the first round who has it going on. Tough contest, but I will love to be dancing to those musicians mentioned above. Good pow wow to attend.

Oh my goodness.....I forgot my little brothers and my nephews from Shawnee.....Sizzortail!!!!! They are back on the trail and will be a contender for the singing contests this summer. Look out, good singing all summer ending up in Ledyard Conn!!!!!!
