Pants or Leggings

So do Smoke dancer wear pants or leggings? It looks like (in alot of pics) that they are wearing pants.

Most I have seen wear pants. The pants are either center seam, or regular pants cut and trimmed to have the center-seam opening fall over the foot, and the appropriate ribbonwork. You will see some of the more traditional guys wear leggings though. Wool are normally center-seam, and the buckskin ones I have seen are usually done with side seams.

i have both. depending on the time of year it is determines which i wear.
