Well, where are they all??

Here's a few that you might be interested in:

July 6th and 7th Oneida Nation Powwow in Green Bay, WI,
Smoke Dance competition for all ages, First Prize $600.

July 14 and 15, Kahnawake Powwow, in Kahnawake, Quebec
Smoke Dance competition (has its own category)

As you prob'ly know: Grand River Champion of Champions
July 28 and 29. Smoke Dance competition Saturday 7:00 pm

August 11 and 12, Tyendinega Annual Powwow,
Smoke Dance Exhibition (not sure about competition)

Awkwesasne Powwow, Mohawks of Awkwesasne
usually in early september or late august. need to confirm dates. Smoke dance competition.

Also, let's not forget the Indian Defense League of America Annual Border Crossing usually on the 3rd Saturday of July. to commemorate the Jay Treaty. A smoke dance competition is usually held in the midst of the festivities.

There are others. I'm sure.
