Hello. We are going to have a smoke dance special at our powwow next year. For all you singers and dancers keep august free.

There is another major smoke dance competition that will take place August 10-12, 2007.

It's a good thing ours is at the end of Aug. well I hope its a good thing. I've changed the date once before because bad timing.

we found out that football season is the reason why we are having problems with location and because of maintenance shut down. So we are still searching. I was bummed.
One definite possiblity is at the lucas county rec center which is humungous and another is the flat lands and another is the soccer field. We are trying to avoid having it in the Auditorium. There is no stage in the auditorium and no chairs there but its smaller area than we like.
Rec Center is trying to work with us on this but we should know by the end of January.
