I’m a dreamer. I believe everyone and everything is a character in my dreams for a reason. I believe that…this world…is merely a dream of a higher being by a higher being. Truly, I am connected more closely to certain people for a reason. I was born a Native American belonging to the Salish and Northern Arapaho tribes for a reason. I am connected to those tribes, as well as all Native people. I am connected to the people who live on my reservation. I am connected to the people who live in Montana. I am connected to people who live in the US. I am connected to the people who live in North America. I am connected to the entire world.
Our influence is like a ripple in a lake. We start out as a small pebble thrown in the lake. We affect our parents first, then our family, then our friends, then the citizens of the community we live in, then the state, then the country, then the continent, then the whole world…just by being born. As we grow up and learn…our ripples grow and affect more people and things in the world. However, the ripples we create are based upon the choices we make. We can create beautifully constructed symmetrical ripples that create a good feeling in all we touch. Or we can create ripple effects of hate that kill everything we touch physically, mentally, or emotionally.
