A vision came to me and I saw what was once a friendship between the Fox and the Wolf. They had once walked side by side as brothers. The Wolf was loyal and his strength was immense he protected the Fox from the Coyote, the Bear and others that might do wrong to the Fox. The Fox was cunning and a trickster and he promised the Wolf that if he followed him they would have all the prosperity mother earth would provide. The Wolf already knew that the Great Spirit would provide for all the brothers and sisters, but he let the Fox think that these great gifts would be passed down to them through the works of the Fox. One day the Fox had seen the Great Brother Bear hunting for some honey within an old dead Oak tree. The Fox wanted the honey for himself and plotted a story to the Bear that the Wolf was stealing the honey from the tree. The Great Brother Bear was angered by this and would mark his territory letting the Wolf know that he was no longer welcome near the hunting area of the Great Brother Bear. The Fox had hoped that the Great Brother Bear and the Wolf would battle and during this battle the Fox would reap the rewards of the honey within the old dead Oak tree. When the sun begin to rise one morning the Wolf set out to hunt for Salmon where he had always hunted before and the Great Brother Bear was waiting for the Wolf to confront him and kill him if necessary. However, before they began to fight the Great Spirit sent down the Great Eagle to speak to the Wolf and the Great Brother Bear and told them of the betrayal the Fox had plotted against the Wolf. The Wolf and the Great Brother Bear along with all the brothers and sisters of the mother earth confronted the Fox and told him from this day forward you shall walk with caution and if found the Great Brother Bear, the Coyote and the Wolf would hunt the Fox and destroy him. This is why the Fox must now hide himself from all living beings under the Great Spirit and is hunted for his fur as a prize to the hunter. He now must use his cunning and trickery to escape the hunters. This was the Great betrayal of the Fox against the Wolf.

Be strong with your brothers and sisters beware of the Fox. The Fox is easy to recognize;
It is greed, it is arrogance, a hunger never filled, a thirst never quenched. The Fox will always want more and is never satisfied. There is no peace in his heart. The Fox will betray you for the chance to feed these wants.

Hmmmmm There's this legal concept known as plagiarism...and this story, with some minor changes...is VERY old....and has been handed down. It shouldn't be ripped off as an original...this is my vision

To Mr. Joe,

First this is an original story of my vision. In addition, you should be more careful of your assumptions. I had this vision come to me in the early morning hours of the day I posted this story. Also, I am the grandson of “Kid Quirino” he was a practicing shaman for the Absentee Shawnee of Oklahoma and passed down to me the teachings of the humans. I have many visions and have walked in the spirit world with the elders who have gone before me. If this story has been written or is in existence I challenge you to prove it. It amazes me that all the Waapa Hileni (white man) are always Cherokee. I will go on the assumption that I have encountered the Fox once again.
Challenge me not, for I have seen your face and will walk in your dreams.

Thank you, for your words. I am happy you liked the writing. I had the vision after an experience the day before and my spirit was not settled. It was around 3:00 am and it was an accident I came across this site. I was listening to the drums during a gathering of nations someone posted the video. It was then I saw the creative writing link and decided to post my vision. I will write again soon.
