Cooking for a Crowd

Any hints on cooking large amounts for a lot of people?

I have a few things I ALWAYS make, and am looking for something new.

How about "bbq shredded pork joes"... everyone loves it and its like so simple to make...for a ton of people.

slow cook over night pork shoulder roast...shred it but it should fall apart on its own...
add masters bbq 3/4 of the bottle....1/4 cup of brown sugar, about 5 full circles in the crock pot of squeezing the honey bear...let it simmer for about an hour and thats it!
just add to some hamburger buns....

Its soooo good...
