Florentine pasta/ground beef
I came back with a lot of cooked ground beef from the concession stand and tried this last night. EXCELLENT!! A good change of pace from spaghetti sauce.
1/2 bag frozen chopped spinach 8 ounces tomato sauce (or spaghetti sauce) 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon oregano 2 tablespoons olive oil 12 ounces cooked fettucini 1# ground beef Oregano Basil Celery Seed Minced garlic Salt In a skillet heat 1/2 cup water with the frozen spinach and cook for 5 minutes on medium heat. Add the tomato sauce and spices. Cook until bubbly, add olive oil and fettucini and toss to coat pasta. Meanwhile, brown the ground beef, drain the fat, and sprinkle on the spices to taste. Add the minced garlic. If it's a little dry add some olive oil. To serve, dish out some pasta and sauce, then top with ground beef and parmesan cheese.
