Upside down pizza
INGREDIENTS
1 pound lean ground beef 1 onion, chopped 1 teaspoon minced garlic 1 (16 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided 1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent rolls or pizza crust DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Brown beef, onion and garlic in a large saucepan over medium high heat. Once browned, drain fat and stir in spaghetti sauce. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a layer of sauce. Top with 1/2 of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, another layer of sauce and the rest of the cheese. Top with crescent rolls, pinching seams together. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes, or until rolls are golden brown.

Best Ever Sausage and Peppers
INGREDIENTS
3 tablespoons olive oil 3 pounds Italian sausage links 3 red bell peppers, sliced 2 green bell peppers, sliced 2 large red onions, sliced 3 cloves garlic, chopped 2 (12 fluid ounce) bottles beer 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste 3 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro 2 tablespoons hot sauce salt and pepper to taste DIRECTIONS Heat olive oil in a large heavy skillet over medium high heat. Cook sausage until browned on all sides. Remove sausage from pan, and set aside. Pour in 1 bottle of beer to deglaze the pan, scraping up any blackened bits from the bottom. Place the red peppers, green peppers, onions and garlic in the pan. Stir in the remaining beer and the tomato paste. Season with oregano, cilantro, hot sauce, salt and pepper. Cover, and simmer until onions and peppers are tender. Slice the sausages into bite size pieces, and add to the peppers. Cover, and simmer until sausage is cooked through. Serve over cooked rice or as a sandwich. Can be made in the crockpot.
