Salmon Patties
Baked salmon was on our Thanksgiving table also! Easy as pie, just wash a whole salmon (gutted) and put it on a pan. Place in oven for one hour at 350 degrees.
Now we find ourselves with a little extra salmon and I got nixed on the idea of salmon chowder. Salmon patties got the nod, and they're super easy too. If using fresh salmon, break up cooked salmon and get rid of any bones. If using canned salmon, drain, break up the salmon and smash the bones with your fingers and mix them in. I usually discard the skin, but if you like it, go ahead and use it. For every cup of salmon, add 1 egg, a teaspoon of seasoned salt, and 2 Tablespoons of finely diced onion. Mix well and form patties. You can coat them with egg wash and bread crumbs, or just leave as is. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes, or fry in a skillet if you're in a hurry. I like them served with Miracle Whip, but tartar sauce would be just as good.

I think I'll make that too!
I've been making all kinds of cream soup since I figured out how.Gonna have cream of tomato at lunch time, since it will only take about 5 minutes to cook. But I still have some salmon and think I'll chowder it.
