cookie D'oh
an easy way to roll out refrigerator dough is to let your dough warm a little (ambient); then place your dough between two pieces of parchement paper. Secure the bottom piece to your rolling surface with masking tape. Flatten your dough between the paper then roll.
using the parchment eliminates the need to add extra flour and mess. I also use this method for pies in a pinch if I'm without my cloth covered pin. OH, you can bake right on the baking parchment. The wax paper is usually treated with silicon. Cut your cookies out on the wax paper and peel of the extra dough to re-roll. Perfect Gingerbread cookies everytime. |
