Pulled a muscle

Last night I pulled a muscle playing softball. AND I'm supposed to play flag football tonight.

I don't know if I should sit it out (we're always short on players), or stretch it out and play anyway.

Anybody got any advice?

get a massage and get some direction from your therapist!

I meant from your massage therapist - if your other therapist talks to you like that - get a new one!

Ask a doc.

How bad is it?

You don't want to make it worse.

It's worse than I though, I think. It's in my hip and I can't walk or climb stairs very well. Going down stairs is no problem. Hmmm...

So I will sit out tonight's game, (as if I could even run!), rest it for a couple days, and see the doc if it's not better.

Oh SE, my MASSAGE therapist!!! I don't have one, at least a PROFESSIONAL one. I'll have to enlist my honey to massage it. (psst...it's right in my bum!)

Thanks girls! I must have been having a blonde...I mean red-headed:p moment to even consider playing while injured.

LOL.

That doesn't sound good. Maybe do some hot and cold treatments. Have your honey blow on it to make it hot and then throw some ice on it. HAHA! No seriously, try the hot and cold treatments.

Thanks! The hot and cold treatments really helped. I'm walking much better, and might be pain free tomorrow. I'm still gonna lay off playing anything or going to the gym until next week. (good excuse:p)
