I prefer to dance Straight Dance. I Fancy feathered when I was young, though I started out as a Straight Dancer. As I grew up a little I tried Traditional Dancing, still I had to stay a Straight Dancer. My youngest son is a very good Straight Dancer although he wants to stray now and then into the Grass dance style. He will still Straight Dance when he wants to really strut his stuff or EnLonShka.

Cool Golden Age Fancy Shawl..............

I and my sisters started dancing WWAAYY back when fur hair ties were the mode! Dresses were plain, no sequins.... Nowadays, I still like to get out there and swing my fringe, only when the song gets too fast, I just swing my fringes faster............... Sometimes my midriff will keep going right at the last beat of the song, but thats okay............. And you can always hide your oxygen bottle under a really big cape................i joke................................

Walker of Water is an unknown quantity at this point
I first danced round bussel then went to Fancy Feather. I then danced Northern Traditional but after comming out of the military and an absence of 28 years from dancing. I now dance mens grass.
My grandfathers and mothers told me when I was a little boy that learning to dance is something that is born in us and when we find ourselves no matter how old you are or how long you danced, the dance will find you.
All the men and boys in my family are grass dancers. Each of them danced as I did in my early years. Now it is my turn to give them the wisdome that my family has given me.

Smile Southern style

I dance southern cloth. It is very competitive down here in Oklahoma so I encouraged my daughter to try fancy shawl. She really enjoys it and now is wanting to dance jingle. My sewing machine can barely keep up with my growing girl. :)
