How many teens do we have hear that would like a teen's forum?

And if you do want it, how do we restrict it to just teens? Or do we leave it public but ask only teens to post?

yeah, I don't think you have to ban people from it, just so long as they know it is a teen forum.

BTW, since I'm here, since there are so many GON fancy videos, and since it takes my comp 1/2 hour to load them (i'm SERIOUS!) for people with fast loading computers PLEASE tell me wich is Teens?

Paul, the adults are voting no because they are saying that they wouldn't use it, not that it is a bad idea. So far all teens have voted yes. I have only heard from one person that actually thinks it is a bad idea.

The idea of a teen forum sounds great but my concern would be control and protection for the teens involved. There are so many crazy people out there who would love to prey on that kind of group. I'm sorry but that's the overprotective Mom in me kicking in. It's sad that it is even a worry, but don't want to see anything bad happen.

Thanx for the concern Sarah, but that is what hawks like me are for, to watch over them...lol... I wouldn't allow anything to happen on the board and most of them contact me if they have a prob. I am a protective mom too!

I can see where she's coming from. You have no idea who is on here and hides behind a cool name. What better place for a molester to hang out than with the kids. So I can see where she's coming from.

Me too. But they are just as vulnerable on other sites and even in other forums on powwows.

I just wanted to help keep the young ones safe. If extra eyes would be of any help I volunteer to help anyway I can.

I am new here but it is obvious to me that, for the most part, the frequent participants are like a family. That's one of the reasons I took the leap and tried posting instead of just watching from the wings.

Teens rock! Please oh please oh please oh please let us have our own forum! it is like my first bicycle!!!( i crashed that one though, even w/ training wheels) but!!! teen forum gets a yes fer me!
