I've been to Schemitzun once back in 2000 and the Gathering back in 2000. I have to say the Gathering definitely has the most amazing Grand Entry that I've ever seen or been in. BUT! schemitzun overall I just got a better vibe and feeling of comfort at that pow wow, everyone there was so friendly and just very interested in hearing where I was from and my Tribe etc.... and I think getting to know the people in the pow wow circle is very important. I just didn't get that type of friendly warm welcome feeling like schemitzun gave me. I loved them both tho. I definitely look foward to more visits to them in the near future.

The Gathering of the nation is the beat pow-wow ever i would not miss that pow-wow for the world.
