Powwows.com Pow Wow - Where would you be willing to travel?

I want to try and get an idea of how far and where everyone would be willing to travel.

These aren't the final choices, just a sampling of where the event could be.

Pigeon Forge is a neat little town, and it's right over the mountain from the rez so you guys could come over and check out Harrah's and Tribal Bingo too :)

ATL, Charlotte and Columbia would be awesome too.

I didn't vote because I didn't like any of the choices. But of course if the prize money was something like 5,000, 4500, 3500, 3000, 2500, 2000, 1500, 1200, 1000, 800, for all adult categories I would travel just about anywhere!!

Better choices for me: Rapid City, SD, Salt Lake City, UT, Denver, CO, or Billings, MT.

Why does everyone always forget to include Canada?.. :(

Really though...your "US" money will stretch so much farther here in Canada... you would not believe how much cheaper prices are in the prairies (Alberta, Sask, Manitoba) compared to Ontario and other bigger places..lol

just been about every where. i look at head staff before we decide where to go. particularly ad, judges and tabulators, because if it's a contest pow wow you want people with good reputations for being fair. some of the regular head staff of people out there these days go for their tribe, travel pals or party partners.

just as a preference i'd love las vegas, maybe unlv. :sunny!:
