The cost should be the amount that it will cost and the amount needed should be your total minus the number of points needed.

The line with "You need" was confusing!
But now I got it!!
It shows you the specific amount of point you need for one action!!

how come my points keep going DOWN? When this first started, I had 10 points, then made a post and it went down to zero. Yesterday I had 290, I've made a couple posts since then and now it says I have 280?

OK I just looked in the Powwows.com store, or merchandise, as it's the only link I saw. Nothing was said about points. Did I go to the wrong place? Will you post the link again, so I won't get lost?

Ok I finally found the ponts store, but when I tried to buy a lottery ticket, all I got was a blank screen, I tried more than once, and waited over 5 minutes, one time! Nothing happened! What should have happened? What should I have seen? I did notice that none of my points dissapeard, so the 5 times I tried, didn't cost me anything!

yes, it's still happening... yesterday I had 980 points, this morning I made a post and it went down to 960.
