You only get paid the joining $$ if the person uses ebates referral service to buy something at one of hundreds of websites - places like Dell, drugstore.com, etc. Checks are sent out every 3 months.

This is a real site that sends real checks out - not some kind of scam or spammer place. I've been with them for several years now. If anyone wants a referral link let me know.
