PowWows.com Server Upgrade

After over 4 years on this server it is time to upgrade!

We've leased a new server that is larger and more powerful.

I'll be working to move all the sites to this new server during the next few weeks.

Please bear with me as I work to finish this upgrade. There may be some downtime for some parts of the Pow Wow Network.

If you see problems, please let me know! It is going to take some time to get all the configurations set.

can that be the reason why ive "an others" have not been getting any e-mail notices from where we have posted?

No, I won't move this site until later. I'll do the other sites first.

But thanks for telling me, I didn't know there was an issue with that.

PowWows.com will be offline December 27-28.

I will work as fast as possible to have the site back online.

While we are offline, be sure to visit our other sites that will still be available such as:

2 whole days with no boards!!! What are we going to do???? Good thing I have to work those 2 days or I'd really be going crazy. Guess that means we'll all have to get in a good dose of posting before then or wait until the weekend

I hope that it won't be two days. The plan is just a few hours on 1 day. But I can't open it backup until the move is complete so that data doesn't get out of sync between the two servers. So I'm saying 2 days for now.

Ah oh..... does that mean we're losing points again?

One thing I've noticed lately is that I can't see the gifts or ribbons. Is that just me or do we not do that anymore? My lil bro sent me a gift and I haven't been able to see it.
