2008 PowWows.com Princess

Submissions are now open for nominations in the 2008 PowWows.com Princess.

The role of the PowWows.com Princess is to represent the site at Pow Wows. In addition, the Princess is expected to be an online ambassador for the website by participating in the forums, welcoming new members to the site, taking part in discussions, etc. The Princess will also be expected to post reports from her travels representing PowWows.com

Requirements
-Unmarried
-Active member of PowWows.com
-Registered on PowWows.com before 10/2007

2008 PowWows.com Princess Nomination

The new Princess will receive a crown and sash.

The Princess will receive a 2 free passes for either the 2008 West Coast Pow Wow Cruise or 2007 East Coast Pow Wow Cruise.

Cruise Information
-Travel to and from the cruise is not included.
-Anyone under the age of 21 (single) must be traveling with a parent or legal guardian.
-If winners do not have someone to sail with them, Pow Wow Cruise will help provide a room mate.
-The prize is 2 berths on an inside stateroom.

Submissions will be accepted until November 30, 2007. During the month of December 2007 a thread for each candidate will be started. The members of PowWows.com will then be able to post questions and comments for the candidates. On January 1, 2008 a poll will start with all the candidates. This poll will end January 18, 2007. The top 5 will advance to the final round starting January 18 and ending January 31, 2007.

The new Princess will be crowned on February 1, 2008.

I encourage any young ladies on powwows.com run for this title! I think it is a very unique experience!! I have had such a great year this past year as your princess, because I have had the opportunity to meet lots of new people and visit with many of you all. People get really excited to see the PowWows.com princess and will come up and introduce themselves. Meeting new people has definitely been the best part so far. The contest itself is really unique too, with people asking you questions online. You learn a lot about yourself through thinking about the questions and expressing yourself. So...I hope that several people run for this title, because even if you don't win, you will have had a great experience running!

Aww thanks, and I hope to meet in person someday too! But my time's not up yet, I still will be at a few more dances before its time to hang up the ole' crown and sash! So that means more facebook pictures for you to check out :)
