2006 PowWows.com Princess

Submissions are now open for nominations in the 2006 PowWows.com Princess.

The role of the PowWows.com Princess is to represent the site at Pow Wows. In addition, the Princess is expected to be an online ambassador for the website by participating in the forums, welcoming new members to the site, taking part in discussions, etc.

2006 PowWows.com Princess Nomination

The new Princess will recieve a crown and sash.

And as the Princess for PowWows.com's 10th Anniversary, the Princess will recieve a free pass for the 2006 West Coast Pow Wow Cruise.

Cruise Information
-Travel to and from the cruise is not included.
-Anyone under the age of 21 (single) must be traveling with a parent or legal guardian.
-If winners do not have someone to sail with them, Pow Wow Cruise will help provide a room mate.
-The prize is 1 berth on an inside stateroom.

Submissions will be accepted until November 30, 2005. During the month of December 2005 a thread for each candidate will be started. The members of PowWows.com will then be able to post questions and comments for the candidates. On January 1, 2006 a poll will start with all the candidates. This poll will end January 15, 2006. The top 5 will advance to the final round starting January 16 and ending January 31, 2006.

The new Princess will be crowned on February 1, 2006.

I have a question! So if you wanna run for princess you have to post your nomination in the other thread for yourself? I just needed to make sure so I didnt post it in the wrong place. LOL

A crown & the cruise this year that'd be awesome.

What is the age limit and what type of requirement does one need to fulfill during her reign (# of powwows, events traveled to). Does she get an expense for traveling, ect. Any information into what one needs to do while representing her self as Miss Powwows.com would be helpful.

I try not to put too many limts on the contest. Since the site judges and votes for them, the site will decide based on each candidate.

She will recieve a crown, sash, and pass for Pow Wow Cruise. Travel expenses are not paid.

I would nominate Summer June...I met her briefly this summer....at Sarnia....and she's a classy young lady....and would represent PW.com very well.....

Paul, I am definitely interested and I am sure that Summer June is also. I as far what I am doing, I am waiting closer to the cut off date to post my nomination, mainly because I don't want to be the first one to set the example for the other nominees to beat in my "essay" (don't know what else to call it. ) I think that that might be the reason for the others not posting yet also... But I am VERY interested in it still so PLEASE do not close this contest. I will post sooner if you are thinking about changing the date or anything...
