New Pow Wow Calendar

PowWows.com is excited to announce our new Pow Wow Calendar! This is a project that has been in the works for several months.

http://www.powwows.com/calendar/displaymonth.php

The new calendar has many improvements and new features. Changes include:

  • Wizard based form for adding events
  • Ability to mark an event cancelled
  • Abilty to upload jpg or pdf of your flyer
  • Printable pages
  • Download to Outlook
  • Better layout
  • More secure editing process
And more!

One of the major new additions is My Pow Wows. This is a part of the calendar where you can see all of the events you are planning to attend. To create you list, just click the plus sign next to an event in the calendar and it will be added to your My Pow Wows.

Please remember that the calendar is still new. Please let me know any problems you experience.

Also please send me feedback on what you like and don't like with the new calendar.

Thanks! Hope you enjoy the new calendar.

Works a whole lot better. What about exporting from the "My Pow-wows" to a format that can load into MS Outlook? The one thing that didn't work properly in either version is the sorting of pow-wows by date.

There is no "next" button for months that go to two or more pages.

I'm working on the Outlook piece for My Pow Wows.

Can you tell me more about what you mean on the sorting.

Thanks

If you look on the left side of everyone's posts under Tribal Affiliation, you will now see a link to thier "My Pow Wows".

So you can see where other people are going.
