PowWows.com Interview - Melanie Matthews
Melanie Matthews from the Miss Indian World Pagent will be the subject of our March interview, as part of our continuing series of interview. Melanie is one of the founding members of the Gathering of Nations Pow Wow. She is the chair of the Miss Indian World Pagent held each year at the GON Pow Wow. When my granddaughter grows up what should she look forward to when vying for the title?? {She's only 2.5 now}

the current M.I.W is from red lake mn. i was wondering if there is going to be something special planned for her as she leaves at the end of her year. the reason i ask is, alot of really nice drum gruops and jinglers are from red lake. i didnt see any invited drums from MN on the poster
