In celebration of our upcoming 10th Anniversary, PowWows.com will host a Pow Wow in 2006.

This has been discussed several times on the forums, and now it's going to happen.

We have several decisions to make about the event such as head staff, drums, contests, date, location, etc.

Please let me know what you all want in a Pow Wow for PowWows.com.

I'm starting a poll now to decide the month of the Pow Wow.

I think that is so great i bet it will be so good and will be well plained if it is 2006 my sudgestion for a mounth would be in july my favourite pow wow is in agust kamloopa pow wow in kamloops b.c i love going there nice weather and all my family are from there so it s like a big family reuniune and i love camping out there for the weekend and being around all my poeple anyway july i think would be nice

A powwows.com powwow, that's cool! I think Singerdad's suggestion was a good one, seems like theres a lot of knowledgeable and talented people here on powwows.com.

I would suggest it be during powwow "off season."

Maybe choose a weekend between the summer circuit, and college/casino circuit! I think more people will be willing to travel, just when they start jone'zin for a powwow.

Also, a central location would be best too.

Those are my suggestions!

I like the idea of a central location.....central new jersey sounds good!!! But serioously, I think it should be near the webmaster since this is his baby.

My slow months are in the winter, november thru march.

Would it be contest or traditional, or the new thing...traditional contest?

CDs and videos?

What would it be called?
"Gathering of Commers"
"Dotcom earth"
"United Users"

GOodluck in planning this powwow!! Do you plan on getting sponsorships/etc if you intend to do a contest pw? Dannnnggg there are lots of things to consider here!! GOod Luck :)
