Sex and Age

Over the next couple of months, you will be seeing some additions to the site. Several of these are because of the results of our User Survey.

One of the changes suggested by several people was the addition of age and gender to each member's profile.

You will now notice that you add your gender in your profile, or leave it undisclosed. And, as always, you can enter your age or leave it blank.

If you have filled these two items out, your sex and age will appear in your profile and on each post you make.

Hope you enjoy the new additions, and thanks for the feedback!

You have to edit your profile.

Go to user cp, edit profile.

I have the word "woman" in my name, but I will put it on my gender in case they are doubtful...:Chatter

There are only three choices?? What about those "spirited" peeps? Those one, two and three spirited fellows? While we are on the subject, can a "woman," be a more than one spirited person? What about those cross gender peeps?? And lets not forget the Winkte, gay's, lesbian's etc etc. Why do they all it gay?? Are they really happy?? We need more choices or maybe a free form so we can fill in what applys.

A 'transgender' person will choose either male or female depending on which sex they identify with regardless where they are in the changeover process, they don't need another category. A gay male is a male, a gay female is still a female--they don't want to change their sex or be what they aren't, they just have a different sexual orientation.
