PowWows.com Best Of

This fall PowWows.com will have it's first annual Best Of Awards. These awards will be given out in several categories to recognize excellence in the Pow Wow world. Nominations will be taken in late summer and voting will begin in the fall.

Below is a list of potential categories. Please let me know if there are ones that need to be added.

And if you have an idea for a catchy name (better than PowWows.com Best Of Awards), please suggest it!

Best Northern Drum
Best Southern Drum
Best Pow Wow
Best Male Dancer
Best Female Dancer
Best Golden Age Male Dancer
Best Golden Age Female Dancer
Best MC
Best Arena Director
Pow Wow with the Best Food
Pow Wow with the Best Vendors
Best 49
Best Pow Wow
Best Contest Pow Wow
Best Non Contest Pow Wow
Best Pow Wow Website
Best Hand Drum Group
Best Hand Drum Singer

How about something to thank the vendors? That may have to be regional though. Yet I'm sure there are those that do make it cross country at times. And the name, hmm, hmm,

how about the 1st Annual Powwows.com Arena Champion Awards?

okay, I want 50-50 ownership of the name, all royalties, and my lawer, Ted Getsmelotsofbucks will contact you soon.:D

Yeah, I had thought about vendors, but like you said how do we recognize them since it is so regionalized.

I think those are good categories, but I don't want to get too many categories our first year.
