mots' morongo 2007 trip

okay my digital cam diskappeared and i had to buy some throwaway cams....the first one the flash indicator lit up but no flash after a couple of pics so i apologize in advance i dint get lots powwow pics as they dint turn out... so here we go...ill get my moms cam and upload some from her's later..(and im not tech savy so dont laugh..and vote for my pics so i can get a new cam aye...)

this is the front drive way of the casino/hotel lol...that powwow dancers were shuttled to.... to gamble aye..i never seen palm trees in person before lol

this is my mom..i couldnt find her right away so i got tired of wandering around like loser so i decided to enjoy myself and watch the powwow and people and i ate a baked potato and sweet corn and drank big cups of lemonade...i finally found her and her friend...we stayed till the end saturday nite then we had a ride trip to some other town....cant remember the name..thats me on the bottom...did anyone see me?

the powwow grounds...paul and kelli...i wanted a pic with me and them but i was too shy to get on the stand all the time...pauls cute in person...had to say that...lol

im so glad they had that big tent...it was hot...i should of tanned aye...in the 2 days i was there...the hotel at dusk...i didnt get to stay there but my mom and her friend and my cousins did....next year i want to...

this boy and man were awesome flute players......i was happy to see bc powwow peeps here...this is rose green and stan green and rose's husband ..my bad.. cant remember his name..theyre from beg's area eh and awesome dancers..i think she placed 2nd...

i talked to this beautiful young family but i dint catch their names..i kept running into them all the time...so if you know them tell them i said hi?...lol...

and some models..i bought a t-shirt for one of my daughters

this is the resort we stayed at saturday night...we got their about 1:30 am and fell straight asleep...what a beautiful place...must be nice to be rich...thats not sasquatch thats my mom in the corner

this is ardell scalplock ..awesome dancer from alberta...i chopped me out cuz i looked tired...me on the way to the buffet breakfast for 20 bucks i ate LOTS...and inside the arbour and flash wasnt working..my pic with litefoot didnt turn out...real mad bout that...now i have to go see him in seattle aye..

arriving to seattle...and the space needle..then i had to wait two hours for the shuttle bus to vancouver bc another 4 hour bus ride...my trip was the first time seeing cali and the desert...i never saw such beautiful people and dancing as i did down there...southern dancing and singing is so graceful and dignified and powerful and i thought it is similar to the westcoasters up here a bit...i wish i wasnt on a time constraint becuz i would of liked to explore more down there...ill get my moms cam and upload some more laterz..

Kewl!! Nice pix!! I went to Morongo last year and wanted to go back this year, but it was the same time as our State Jr. High Cross-Country Championships. Glad u had a great trip!!
