Perrysburg Pow wow

A great time for all who made the trip!
Good food, lots of dancing, vendors who were friendly and gave information to all.
The bird of prey area was something I will always cherish, to see those wonderful birds up so close!
Jamie, thank you for saying the right things at the right time and for always being so impeccable in your choice of words and your regalia. And your gift to our Drum, Red Shield, THANK YOU!
Even the spectators enjoyed dancing ,with a little pep-talk from Jamie LOL!
Arvol and Douglas were there, preforming with their usual gusto, what a treat!
And lets not forget our friends the Eagles and Hawks who came by both days!
Mark this one on your calander for next year folks!

It Was Awesome!!!!

100% AGREED! This event was just plain awesome! Thank You Jamie and Brian and all for a great event that was so much like home. The pumpkins, corn, squash, apples, tobacco and cotton plants really made it feel like fall in the woods and on the farm. I have seen some powwows in the fall with a few pumpkins here and there but never like this with so many pumpkins, squash, etc. and real live and true tobacco, corn and cotton plants ready to be harvested. How did you do that Jamie and Brian? You must have your own nursery or something? We grabed two of the cotton and tobacco plants at the giveaway. The food was great, the vendors were just amazing with really neat and different things you don't see at regular powwows like real trade silversmiths and real woodland crafts and beadwork (not all plains and southwest stuff). The birds of prey were simply beautiful and the children's tent was too. I have seen some events with a table or two for children's crafts but Perrysburg was way past that. AND as StandWolf said about Jamie's words, his Veterans Speech is the get up and get off your ***, be damn grateful for what we have, gung ho, tear jerker, honor giving, pat on the back, Vets are awesome, speech that only he seems to do and he does it damn well. Damn it Jamie you always make the entire family cry at the Veteran's Dance. Thanks again and see you next year!

This was my first trip to Perrysburg, and I had a great time... it was an awesome thing to get real tobacco right off the plant... and even a plant... LOL That means a lot to a Shawnee kid who can't get such things many places, and meant a lot to me personally.

I have been to a lot of pow wows in a lot of places, and was probably taken care of the best at this pow wow, as a singer, that means a lot... we asked for coffee when the throats got tight and it was there before we knew it... great rooms, good food, and just all around, very nice treatment... I hope we get invited back, we had a great time!

Thanks to Jamie and Brian... thanks a bunch from myself and my crew.

Paselo~

Great!!!!!!!!

We recently just got back from our long trip on the Indian Trail. Now comes the hard work of winterizing the RV and all that the other stuff. We had to come and online and say how much we enjoyed the many events this year. Some were very large with thousands of people and hundreds of dancers and some were very small with hardly any people and barely any dancers. But of them all we felt most welcome and had the most fun at Perrysburg, Ohio. Great!!!!!!!!
